Solar Water Pumps

Testimonials

“Here, at Fenwick Farm, we have been dealing with Solar Water Pumps for a number of years.  We require reliable, cost effective solar pumps to maintain water for both stock and spaying supplies. We have replaced almost all windmills and electric pumps with solar pumps, for a cost efficient and reliable alternative.

The staff at Solar Water Pumps can be relied upon to be on time, using the most appropriate, value for money equipment.  Pumps are installed on time, and back up service is immediate should there be any problems, either in person or on the phone.

The use of solar pumps for our watering systems has enabled us to become more efficient in other facets of our business, as we spend less downtime repairing windmills and pumps.

We would highly recommend Ross and the crew at Solar Water Pumps for any solar pump requirements you have.”

“In 2010, water issues for our mixed farming establishment north-east of Williams were becoming critical. Bores were drilled but what type of pumps to use was the next part of the plan.

A display by Ross and his crew at the Wagin Woolorama confirmed to us that this was the way to go.  Ross’s explanations and knowledge of his product convinced us to purchase the type of solar pump that he advised would suit our needs.

Three pumps were purchased and installed and have been a great investment to ensure our livestock have had adequate water supplies for the past six years when water in the dams has been very short. The products are of top quality and with regular servicing, there are minimal issues.

On all occasions the service provided by Ross and his team has been very professional, fast, efficient and friendly. Thank you for all your support and advice over the years to ensure the water has kept flowing.”

“I own and run a 1.6 million acre cattle property in the Northern Goldfields where temperatures in summer exceed 45 degrees, good pumping winds can be unpredictable and finding staff with working at heights tickets and capabilities was proving rather difficult, so I started looking at different options. Having used solar for other applications I decided to go down this path. The criteria I set was reliability, back up, field service ability and cost effectiveness.

After a few false starts I settled on Solar Water Pumps because the company’s attitude matched my criteria. The ability for me to solve site problems over the phone is paramount being 700 kilometres from the source and on the odd occasion being on a public holiday or whilst on holidays I have found Solar Water Pumps’ attitude to try new ideas has been flexible and between us coming up with a system that best suites our needs exceptional.

We run three types of solar pumps, including screw pumps which is the main type we use.  I find the screw pumps cost effective and relatively trouble free to deliver water to 3,500 head of cattle. We have been using the solar pumps for eight years now and have only had to replace one so far. At present we have 7 systems varying in depth from 20 metres to 60 metres, and have ordered another 14 systems.”
